Cool or heat the towel as directed and place it on the affected area in its case. Do not use the towel for more than 20 minutes at a time.
Cold :
Place the towel in the refrigerator or freezer without its case for at least 4 hours then apply it to the area with its case.
Hot :
In the microwave: 25 seconds in the microwave at 700W (or 19s at 1000W / 16s at 1250W).
Once heated, check the towel's temperature and, if necessary, heat it for an additional 5 seconds until the desired temperature is reached. Always check the temperature before each use and place the towel in its protective sleeve before applying it. Do not overheat the towel.
